We love Madeline Weinrib!
Both Cristina and I are completely enamoured with this amazing textile artist. This is one designer who is definitely not afraid of colour and texture! All of her work is so exciting and full of life. One day, I will own a Madeline Weinrib rug. This, I swear and preferably it's the Mandala in blush pink (image #2). The only downside is that I can't find her products anywhere here on the westcoast of Canada?! Oh well, just another excuse to get to ABC Carpet and Home in NYC.
absolutely gorgeous! I wish more vancouver designers would get on the colour bandwagon ... grey is so, so ... dull! LOL
ReplyDeleteOoh yes, her style is awesome! I'm obsessed with Ikat too and while I'm not quite at PINK!!!! yet I'm loving the Coral and Blue and Purple. Thanks for sharing! Your blog is lovely!
ReplyDeleteBest ever!..Her colours are spot on and totally perfect!
ReplyDeleteAm so crushing on the rugs.
Thanks for dropping by hope to see you at the market!
I love Madeline Weinrib rugs too, especially the purple one in the image from Decorpad! She uses such great colours and patterns in her work.
ReplyDelete{Sorry to hear you're having lousy weather in Vancouver too. Today is another wet & grey day here in Ottawa...}
Beautiful images Lindsay! I covet love Madeline's textiles too. To own a rug would definitely be a dream, but a more immediate desire - one inspired by her upholstry - is a deep orange ikat for a chair I want recovered {{sigh}}. I don't think I can afford Madeline's fabric, but I hope to find something like it!!
ReplyDeleteTerrific post!
Victoria

I'm in love with the gray/purple living room. Sub out teal or some sort of blue for the purple and I may have a chance with my husband.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous textiles! I bet you could guess which is my fave... You got it! The pair of purple ikat print chairs! I'll be dreaming about them tonight. ;)
