Sadly, it's that time of year again.

I spent Friday at Camp Jubilee (outside Deep Cove) with my son's elementary school.  Can we say FUN, insane, hilarious and ridiculous all in one day!?  By the end of our trip my face was hurting from laughing so hard.  Imagine, thirteen 5&6 year olds in a canoe paddled by ME (worst paddler ever) and one awesome teacher's aid!  One little boy got stung by a bee, one was crying for his mom and two kids ran away...but not one kid fell in the water!  For the most part the rain held off but my feet were soaked through from the canoe trip.  It really was an amazing day and one I won't forget for a long time.  I was kicking myself all day for not wearing my rubber boots.  Now that I'm looking at the forecast...I hate to break it to you but I think it's time to bring our Hunter boots back into regular wardrobe rotation.

A note to the guy wearing Hunters below... please don't, you look ridiculous.

  1. Fun! My sons' grade 7 class went to Camp Jubilee last year. What a fun place :) Love the boots. I am waiting for my Ilse Jacobsen boots that I won from Splendid Willow. I ordered them in bright red!
